Gijs Van Laer
CTO, XFA
Gijs is the CTO and co-founder of XFA, a company developing a non-intrusive, privacy-respecting security product for work devices, ensuring the device's security compliance during authentication into an application. He holds an M.S. in Pure Mathematics from the University of Antwerp and another in Security Informatics from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, where he also earned a Ph.D. in Applied Cryptography. Gijs started his career as an analyst and developer for several companies and he was the CISO at DPG Media in Belgium.
